  i received a pm from a non-moderator (who will remain nameless) this afternoon telling me i've been banned.

  Well, after reading my Bible, I've determined the cause of all this. Me. Mr. Falcon. I have angered God by coming here and there is only one thing to do. YOU MUST CAST ME OVERBOARD.

  Now I realize that many of you don't want to see me thrown overboard, especially many of you female posters who are attracted to my witty charm and striking good looks, but this must be the only way to appease the Lord. So that's it, if I must be tossed into the angry sea so as to restore peace to JWN, then so be it. I love you all (except DJeggnog, he's an insufferable ass).........

  The classic features of a JW wedding are:

  firstly a wedding/sales talk that mostly features heavily on how the woman should behave (hint, doormat) and lightly brushes over the fact of the husbands bevhaviour ( oh yeah he should treat her well).

  the reception normaly at some crummy comunity hall with yellowed ceilings and chucks of damp plaster falling off the walls.

  the seats normaly arranged facing eachother all around the edge, so that theres a huge unused space in the middle and everyone is climbing over everyone elses legs to get to their chair.. a big spread donated by everyone, normaly an ode to food poisoning.

  WTWizard - that whole snitching thing was nuts. The illustration of Alex & Steve was really too much. I laughed when they read it and thought, "well Steve is about to get an important life lesson on who his REAL friends are." Growing up, so many self-rightous "Alex" types would go around ratting on everyone for everything. Everything. Getting everyone in trouble constantly. And today most of them aren't even JWs anymore. So they caused so much trouble for people and then ended up leaving that very same organization. People were DF'd and families broken up over some the crap, so I have a hard time not seeing them as being accountable, whether they are presently JWs or not.

  i had to laugh when i saw the cover of the april 1 copy of "the week".

  it has michelle rodriguez smiling up in the right hand upper corner, "how religion made her a tough chick".. it seems she got into fights about being a witness and thought the teachers of american history were liars because of her background in the 'truth'.

  she got expelled from 5 different schools.. now remember, jehovah's witnesses are not extemists.
